At times, in the beginning, it can be a little confusing to keep up with all the players and their own story arcs within the larger story. Perhaps it felt that way only because I was rushing through the book in giddy anticipation.
I did feel, however, that by the middle of the story, I had a cohesive look at each and every main character. In the second half of the novel, Fiona Cummins ratches up the intensity and you are literally on the edge of your seat, desperate for her many threads to come together.
